Referees & TimeKeepers

The Greater Sudbury Lacrosse Association requires Officials and Timekeepers for our Box House and Rep Games.

We are committed to developing an excellent group of officials for league and in house games. We want to partner and assist each of you so that officials in Greater Sudbury officiating crews are recognized for their excellence.

Referee Application

In order to become a referee, you must attend the OLA Referee clinics annually. There is a clinic fee, which must be paid by the applicant. Registration information can be found by clicking here.

Supervisions and an open dialogue are kept with the RIC and fellow officials in order to provide support and guidance as you grow in the role.

Be sure to contact the RIC Michael Wilson prior to applying to discuss your interest as positions in the GSLA are limited and simply registering does not guarantee you will be scheduled to officiate any games.

REFEREE REQUIREMENTS:

Timekeeper Application

Need volunteer hours? Then you've come to the right place.

The GSLA is in need to of individuals to operate the game clocks. The system is easy to use and can be taught to you by the RIC prior to your first game to answer any questions you may have.

The best part? You will have the best seat in the house to watch the game.

It is also a great way to learn the sport. As you will interact with the referees throughout the game.
